Canoe kit for sale - NEW

My dad bought a canoe and frankly isn't healthy enough to use it. Sucks. But, for someone this WILL be a sweet deal.

Old Town - Penobscott 16 - Royalex hull - Web seats (not the plastic junk)

Also included: PFDs in a variety of sizes. All new. Some by Kokatat, others by Cablelas or MTI. Five to chose from including two kid's PFDs.

Two Carlisle wood paddles and one Carlisle aluminum/poly paddle. All new. One small kid's paddle.

Removeable third seat for a kid. Again, new.

One webbing and ash canoe seat back. Really nice. One "Crazy Creek" style canoe seat back made by Daluth Trading Co complete with zippered stash bag. That stuff is really cool and again...new.

None of this stuff has ever hit water and has been in a garage for 4 months. I also have a couple mesh duffles for wet gear...new.

At the time he purchased this stuff, the boat was $1400+tax and all the accessories were another $700.

TOTAL ASKING PRICE: $1200.

Shoot me a pm or call 928-273-3754.

This boat is located in Prescott and I'll deliver within a 2 hour radius, just don't ask me to drive too far into Phoenix.

I can email photos, but really this boat is brand new so get all the specs at Oldtowncanoe.com

Okay.....time to get serious. :)

For ExPo members only, my dad and I decided to let this go for $975. That's smokin' cheap.

hmmm, if you drove 2 hours...and i drove...and we met somewhere, and I had teh cash, add in gas money...that's still a deal. I'll see what I can do if you don't sell by next month. Looking for a canoe, and this might be just the deal.

Here's the update:

The canoe is green with black webbing on the ash wood seat slats with ash thwarts and shoulder yoke. Really looks sharp. It's Rover green so it looks smokin' cool on my Disco, but I need a canoe like I need another hole in my head. I'll post a photo in the next couple days.

I'd definately be willing to drive a couple hours to deliver it. I just don't want to be driving all over Phoenix looking for an address, if you know what I mean. I'm a terrible city navigator.

I can even sweeten the deal. I have a good half dozen dry bags of all shapes and sizes, most are new. Take your pick or take'em all.

I'll keep this ExPo member price until July 7th. After that, it goes on Craig's List and in the classifieds. I'm not giving much time to decide, but I really would prefer this nice boat go to my amigos from the forum.

Also worth mentioning - I'm the buyer for Manzanita Outdoor, an Old Town dealer. This boat is being sold at $100 over dealer cost, which with shipping of $90 is really - at cost. Plus, the buyer gets free paddles, PFDs, etc. I just really need to move this boat.

Thanks for your inquiries.

Cheers,
Christophe
