Carbed Trooper vs. The Mountains

I curious if anyone can tell me if I take my carbureted 87 model Trooper into the Rockies whether I may run into some high altitude drivability issues? I`m in Kansas and the Mountains are only a day away..

I curious if anyone can tell me if I take my carbureted 87 model Trooper into the Rockies whether I may run into some high altitude drivability issues? I`m in Kansas and the Mountains are only a day away..

You will lose some power but it is not a big deal in offroad situations because you can use low gear in your tcase to compensate. I am talking about high altitudes over 10K feet.
