Chafe Guard for Kinetic Rope?

Anyone know where I can find a chafe guard for a 1" kinetic rope?

We use some old damaged fire hose. That stuff wears like iron. We've found a lengthy piece (10 ft) and two three'ish footers can be configured to chafe proof most any rapelling situation you find. It has a large enough ID to handle 1" rope. BTW, what are you using the 1" inch rope for?

When you say chafe guard do you want the black nylon webbing like what is pictured on this line?

Yes! That's exactly what I'm looking for -- preferably with a velcro closure, since it probably wouldn't slide over the existing loops on the rope. ;-)

I was actually on your site recently drooling over your XD winch lines and extensions. I'm running some Amsteel blue on my winch and the same for the extension. It's a shame I already have a spare winch line in my kit... When my winch line fails, you can bet I'll buy one of your XD winch lines.

We don't have a velcro style guard for rope of that size, call me and I will see what we can work out for your rope.
