Chevy Avalanche Softopper Reproduction

Hey Everyone!

So long story short Softopper has decided to redesign the Avalanche version of the Softopper bed cover. All because one guy made a FB group (Avalanche Softopper Movement). He and others hounded them for awhile and eventually they caved, lol. Hopefully it's released by years end. I would follow the FB group for latest info. It seems we currently have their ears. So if you like to see new features. Shoot them an email.

This is actually pretty interesting to me. I never would have thought of the Avalanche as a weekend camper but with that mid-gate it does make a certain amount of sense.

I always thought it was kind of a underutilized rig. But at the same time, was not something I ever wanted. Although the ¾ ton with the 8.1 was probably pretty awesome.

Agreed, Napier still makes an Avalanche bed tent. They work really well! They also sell a ground tent that attaches to the bed tent.

Um...that guy may have complained and made a fb page, but I'm betting the fact that the new Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra EVs are basically an electric version of the Avalanche is the real reason for Softopper's decision.
