Customer came into my shop for some maintenance and a funky smell. While i was looking around i saw the usual signs of a rodent. Ie chewed up insulation, twigs, grass, and of course its droppings.

So i was on a hunt for a died mouse in a 3500 express van. Think is gotta be in the ac system i pulled the blower motor resistor and looked in side. No dice.
Decided to pull the passenger side cowl and bingo. He was in a tiny area inside the body.

I sliced it and found the nest and the rodent inside.

Save yourself and the poor mechanic that may need to work on your van.....

I suggest plugging that hole.

My hazmat suit consisted of a face mask over my mouth, and as lil distyrbance to the contents as possible. Used some very long needle nose pliers to get in there.

Wow that is just rank, sadly had similiar issues with the school buses we work on being parked most of the summer and collecting wildlife of all sorts. Glad you were able to find the little guy and clean up that unpleasant mess.
