Price seemed high .. Some future montero owners have deeper pockets than others and are willing to pay top price for the privilage of driving a GEN 2.5. I thought me posting this would get more laughs and a few rounds of I bet this is wrong and this is wrong. So what part of Oregon are you in Viper ?

Entire reason I purchased my 99 was the R/D Locker ...

I've emailed this guy and he seems kind of hinky.

The answer to my list of simple, concise questions was to just snip a sentence fragment from his CL posting.

I think my 99 is awesome for the price. The more I learn and understand about the Montero/Pajero the more it makes me feel like I got a good deal . I live in in SE Portland close in ....

Update: This ******* is posting ads all over the United States for this Montero, a Montero Sport, and a Jag. First, he was "Mr Eugene" and used a Portland Verizon cell number (971-227-8827). In his latest ads he uses MY NAME with a Seattle T-Mobile cell number (206-697-4234). His ads say that he's in Yamhill County (south of Portland).

Buyer beware; fraud is everywhere.
