Clamshell trailers unite!

Here's the info on ours...

Make - Kamparoo
Model - Weekender Transcontinental
Year - 2004
Family size - 2 (wife and I, fluffy size people)
Mods - Basically stock but added mount for High Jack and converted tongue to accept the Lock 'n Roll hitch. At some point, will modify suspension to use airbag setup. Currently leaf springs with shocks.

I bought it from someone local. He was the original owner and it mostly sat in his garage, having used it only once or twice. The tires are the original ones made in Australia and they still have the nipples on.

I don't take as many pictures of the rig as I should, and this is the only one I have.

I seem to be holding the position of Trailer Historian, so here is the early Kimberly Kampers North American saga.

Kimberly Kampers were originally imported into the USA by Aaron Whittaker of Global RV. Aaron worked with them extensively to redesign the trailer for the US market, the "new' King Kamper was the result.

Unfortunately for Aaron Kimberly Kampers saw a potentially huge market in the USA and tried to sign up a nation wide dealership network. Aaron was dropped as their US agent. As we all know KK never realized their dream of a nationwide dealership network and pulled out of North America this year.
