whitenoise. I ordered them from aliexpress. the ********** seller, took my money, marked my item as shipped, then turned around and told me they are out of stock. I am fighting to get my money back now. run far away!
Run far away from whom?
Could you pls mention the Ali Express seller so no other members find themselves in this situation.
Back on Topic, it seems after 214 posts on the Subject, there still isn't a comparison of real world Light Output of the 2 fittings.
(Which now has become 3 fittings, if you include the 96Watt version and now the 185Watt version)
Most seem happy with construction and mounting hardware of the Clones.
Certainly happy with price of the Clones.
Lighting output and Protection against ingress moisture from pressure washing or river crossings seems yet to be covered.
Given the results of the 2 members that went ahead and purchased the cloned ARB lights, i'd be happy to purchase the product.
I really can not justify $1600 hanging off the front of my vehicle, just waiting for a Kangaroo to destroy it or have some kid flog them when parked.
Although, being a dumb crook, he will only flog these, thinking they are ARB lights
Of course, like all "clones" longevity, cool running temps, noise free running are often omitted in the chase for cheap out of spec parts, or parts that are just in spec with little or no tolerance.
Only time will tell in this area.
So long as the lighting output is adequate and not spilling out all over the place, then i cant see why most people would pay 1000% more for something that may only be 20% better.
