:yikes: I would kill for that kind of fuel mileage...
What are you getting?

Also, I drive very conservative most of the time. Not afraid to womp on it when needed, but only when needed.

Pics of trailer that I"m building up to match the truck-

taking it to the State Patrol on Tuesday to get it inspected and licensed. :)

winter blend: 12.5-13.5 city 15.5 hwy

summer blend: 15-15.5 city 16.5hwy (I can hit 17mpg doing 65mph)

And I drive fairly conservatively also. Not really a whole lot of 'city' driving where I live. I live in the county and my workplace is 1/4 mile from the interstate. But I guess with all the armor and lift it is to be expected. I'm not even considering getting rid of it. It makes me too happy to drive it. :)

:yikes: ****!! Makes the extras a bit bittersweet. :(

I like the Hi-Lift mount on MCM4090's truck so much better, I think I am going to adapt that..
Is funny you say that because I plan on adding a toll box and your idea mount the hi-lift on top of the box.

Oh, I'm keeping it on the tool box, I"m just going to use two spare tire mounts on one cleat each, instead of the 4 cleat method I'm using right now.

I am thinking the snorkel will give me a bit of a boost, but unaware of what the muffler will do, good or bad.

So you are thinking that the snorkel will increase MPG?

I love that trailer! It looks like some sort of old miltary vehicle. But where is the gate?

That's what some people are reporting. Only way to tell is to stick it on there.

And the trailer is an M101CDN that I bought from another member on here. (Canadian Military copy of an old US Army trailer)

No gate as they are intended to float. I've even read of guys at collector bashes using just the tubs as "canoes"!

BTW Kadar, how are you liking those tires? I was thinking about sticking my BFG's on my wife's pickup and going with something a little more aggressive. I was also looking into the Cooper STT's and Firestone Destination MT's. I just haven't made up my mind yet.

Actually, and I'm aware this is sacrilege, I like them 100% better than the Toyo MT's I had on there for a week.

They got me, my wife and daughter through Death Valley on The Racetrack safely.

And they did't hurt my mileage nearly as much as the Toyos. Oh, and they're very quiet. :)
