INSAYN, that's exactly what I'm building mine to do, with the tent on top. I'm too poor for the nice Maggiolina so I'm just building it.

Poor in dime, but rich in skills.

This gets a lot of new ideas to the table which motivates the next fella to step outside the norm and create something different and special.
Be sure to post/link us to you build. I'm always impressed with what a guy builds from scratch when fab skills exceed the dollar.

The Boom Boom Room

The ROAM got a new 11' x 11' Modular Command Post tent off the back end.....offered up a nice dry, warm place to eat and hang.

Yep..a bit heavy (280 Lbs.), but very well made. I put it up and took it down by myself, and no single pc. weighs more than 50-70 lbs. It was only the second time putting it up, and although a second hand is nice, it was pretty smooth. It's made by Camel tents...very made and thought out. Just cut out a hole and stuck some velcro to it butt it up the trailer.

Even had a nice heavy vinyl floor....and I ordered a Camp Chef woodstove to heat it colder weather.

That's thinking out of the box! Like it, but what do you do for a floor when the boat is out?



Can someone show the flip tops with RTT how the tops are braced outside the footprint of the trailers? Must be the best kept secret here...LOL, do the ladders hook on as a brace? Thanks!

These are called Swamp Donkeys and I have an article on them in a magazine somewhere. I can't find a website for the company anymore but this link is the closest I can find. Check out the fotos for a good shot of the legs. Never seen one in the real world but there's a few kicking around on the 4WD sites over here.
