New to me Jeep bantam Spen civilian trailer

Picked it up and started to outfit it. I will be starting build thread soon. Pics how it sits today. I will use it for mulch and stuff along with camping so no Rtt in the plans.

Here is mine. Just picked up last week, similar to pdsftw's, but already had a chassis for trailer duty. Will be doing research around the site for ideas. It's is pretty much ready for camping and need to watch the weight, but would like to build a platform on top for my tent, add a sink, fixed water tanks, pump among other things. First thing will be to add a 2" hitch receiver for my mountain bike rack.

Nice setup Speedpin, doing similar with mine...yard trailer and camp hauler so no top. Can you take a close up of how you fit those bars into the stake sides? Did you make the basket up front?

Great find Loren, almost in my backyard. I'd either have to lift my truck a foot or rig it as a 5th wheel! LOL

Lots of great trailers and rigs here, nice work guys! :)

I noticed these driving on US101. It sure looked like a fun way to travel. I got a couple of pictures as they stopped for fuel next to the grocery store. As the first one pulled out to park waiting for the next, the swarm of onlookers started. The "Yakima Ridge Runner" guys seemed used to it and even opened their homemade teardrop trailers and answered questions. After the delay they continued north to find a place to camp in Tokeland, WA then to continue on their travels over the Olympic Penninsula.

I think I need a bigger truck!
Very kool indeed. Nice trailers and Jeeps...looks like fun. I have always wanted to explore the Olympic Peninsula, look at it every day from work...beautiful mountains.

Not exactly what you guys are talking about. But this our camper. It's a 1965 Santa Fe 16'. Before and after.

Just added the stripe, also did a matte silver pinstripe to outline the "copper" body stripe.
