Commercial roof rack for canoe carrying?

I have thule bars. they'll work fine. If ONLY want to carry my canoe
on top.

What if I want to carry other things?

Is there anything made that would fit a canoe, as well as a few other things? Awning, jerry cans, camp chairs, etc. next to the canoe. (on either side)

How long are your load bars? How wide is the boat?

Thule add$ up in a hurry, but you get a 3rd bar in between the two and attatch a thule basket to them. I used to have the 78" load bars just for that reason. Heck, I've carried a spare tire, jerry cans, fire wood, paddling gear, all sorts of stuff up there.

if you are patient, I'm sure you could source everything on Craigslist.

Do you mean "rack-it" up on clairemont Mesa blvd.? I've heard good things about that store.

Ah bummer. There used to be a location in SD. It was called The Sports Rack, and they were bought by Rack-N-Road a few years ago. The Costa Mesa one is the one I use still.
