CONGRATULATIONS! The Bullet XV written up in Outside Magazine

Imagine my surprise and pleasure at turning to page 36 of the latest Outside Magazine to find a complementary and well-deserved, if brief, writeup of the Bullet XV. Given that Outside has a circulation just short of 3/4 of a million, this is quite an accomplishment. "Behold, the ultimate recreational vehicle," the article says, and the photographs and description make it sound like the slick piece of work that it is.

Not too many home-built expedition vehicles get written up in the mass media, so if you come across the magazine, even if it's just a quick peek at the lcoal Barnes and Noble, take a minute to see one of our own appropriately getting his fifteen minutes of national fame

Congratulations, Steve.

Can someone point me to the build thread for the Bullet XV? I did a search in the forum that yielded way too many hits and couldn't narrow it down to the right one. Thanks.

Heck, why don't you decide? You're the one that got the truck written up.

I think you are the leader of the gang, as most of us covet your position.

Not exactly,
They contacted Bethany about talking with me over the phone at a specific time. Then, after the initial phone conversation, probably 3 different people called me back to check facts, & to ask Bethany to send photos of the bullet, even still, they got a couple facts wrong (as we all know, 35" tires don't give you a 24" clearance, & I gave them the appraised value, not what I put into it)
but for the most part, everything else was good - vague but good.
The pictures they chose however, were far from the ones I would have chosen.
all of you have seen better pics.
The subject of the article, has no say in the content of the article, or the pictures chosen

we all do far better here on expedition portal, getting much more detailed information & better pictures, that's why we're here
