Considering a Sprinter 4x4

The pinch seam on the rear part of the front wheel well is VERY tall. It needs to be folded over or ground off to clear a decent size tire. Front bumper needs a trim too but that's plastic.
Van Compass has a detailed list of what sizes fit with what mods.
Probably not a good idea to grind it completely off, since it's a weld joint. Something short & heavy like an Estwing Drilling Hammer works well to fold pinch welds over.

Have you considered the GM Vans? i was playing around on the site - $42k (probably discounts and/or cheap 0-3% financing available) gets you a 3500 EWB with lots of bells and whistles, including the 2.8L Duramax shared with Canyons and Colorados. Quigley factory 4x4 conversion for another $12k. It’s not a high top (unless you add that too) but I would guess total cost of ownership is lower than a Sprinter. Quigleys fit 33s, Weldtec 4x4 conversion can fit 35s. Defintely tall enough to fit a moto inside too.
