Ha. Me too. Finally got the chance to drive mine through snow - all of four inches deep.
But they did really well!
Had them and had no problems. Good traction in the mud and dirt. A bit noisy in the highway than the Terra Grapplers.
I think that review is wrong. Mine were much louder than the KOs on my rig now. That could have been due to wear, but the jeep was silent after I got the BFG installed.
Excuse me, I DO like them except for the little issues I had with them. Again, they are great in the woods, and quiet, but not as smooth or quiet as the BFGs. Might as well give two sides to the story bud. Again, like I said, everything is not baby farts and rainbows with them as people claim. just giving people other views to make their decitions.

You have to understand that he's stated his opinion EMPHATICALLY on numerous occasions. Scott was merely pointing that out.I don't know why anyone would think a baby fart is good anyway!
Anyway, I for one appreciate kojackJKU's opinion. He ran the tire along with other tires on the same rig. That is a valuable review. Someone who has this tire on one vehicle and another tire on another vehicle has a much less reliable review. Not all reviews have to be good. He gave his honest opinion and provided valuable information. Thank you Kojack.
Been researching tires for a couple weeks now before I decide what I want to go with. I will be going with the 255/85r16 size which leaves me with not as many tire options.
Originally I was looking into the Maxxis Big Horn MT tires at $174 a piece with free shipping. I couldn't find too much as far as reviews on the tire so that didn't help. Then I got to thinking that perhaps something a little less aggressive would better suit my predominantly on road driving routine. Thats when I came across the Cooper Discoverer S/T MAXX.
The reviews I have seen and read on here and other forums have me wanting these tires more than ever. The cheapest I have found these are $202 a tire plus $98 in shipping charges. That means for about the same price I could either get 4- S/T MAXX's or 5- Maxxis BigHorn's. I will break it down.
Cooper S/T MAXX 255/85r16: $202 53lbs E-Rated 10-Ply
Maxxis Bighorn MT-762: $174 53lbs D-Rated 8-Ply
It seems fishy that the Bighorn is 2 less ply's yet the same weight. I found the weight on amazon so it might not be the most reputable source. Either way, the good reviews and posts on here have me leaning strongly towards the Coopers even with the significant price difference. Thanks for listening and I will be sure to update a detailed terrain review when I purchase my new rubber!
