Coopers website news section has what little info there is and there is a poor quality youtube video from SEMA with it pictured.
YouTube - Cooper Discoverer S/T MAXX from Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. ID10082
Actually I guess this post should be on the ST thread.....
Hmm interesting. I am a little nervous though. The video said they use Coopers Armor Tek3 and Chip resistant compound. Which sounds fantastic, unless this tire replaces the STT. I think this will be a great ST replacement but I sure hope they don't use it to replace both tires or something. I love the STT. It would still be my first choice to have the STT in a 33x10.5 16 or 17".
EDIT: Nevermind I just read the article on Coopers site that specifically says it will replace the ST-C. It is also only made in 8 sizes for 16-18" rims. Thats a pretty limited tire sizing. The ST-C is only in 4 sizes though so they will likely keep those sizes. Hopefully they will choose the 255/85/16 as one of the additional sizes. This looks to be a better tire than the ST.
