CopperCon Build

Not an earth shattering update, but I did get the Weatherguard vents and Magnaflow high clearance exhaust installed. Just a few short weeks and the build REALLY gets going....

Exhaust sounds pretty awesome, so far I like it a lot. Added a Drake Offroad mesh grill to the Jeep. Super easy install, and seems like it will protect the radiator nicely.

Got a few updates here on my build. I went to Adventure Trailers and had them install the Stage 1 cargo drawer, the Stage 2 cabinet, 13 gallon water tank, onboard shower, 6 liter water heater, cargo shelf, Trailgator table, Eezi Awn camping table under the cargo shelf, Gensis dual battery system, Blue Sea 12 port fuse panel, and Fridge/Stove combo slide. I had a lot of that same stuff in my last JK and put tens of thousands of miles on it with all the gear, so I knew it was perfect for my intended use.

The next stop was Ursa Minor Vehicles for a scheduled J30 install with quite a few custom touches. I ordered the top months prior and kept in touch with John regarding the build. I won't get into it here, but I ended up leaving empty handed, without the J30 I was told would be ready for me.

Anyway, onto some pics and some other things I've added

I added some gripping cupboard liner and cargo tie down loops to the Stage 1 drawer

Sleep in Jeep mode. AT added a flip up extension behind the front passenger seat, to make the platform 72".

Very impressive drawer system!
I really like the flip up, that the whole thing is at the height of the arm rest, and that it is designed to take advantage of no subwoofer sticking into the bed.

Very nice. I had big plans (similar to yours) for my JK. I spent a lot of time looking at the Red JKU (with prototype Habitat) in SLC at the 2011 trade show I went to. I asked Mario a TON of questions about the parts in that JK too.

The Jeep now sits 4.5" taller thanks to the AEV dual sport suspension lift with bypass shocks. I also added some airlift helper airbags to the rear for all the added weight I carry around and trailer I occasionally tow. I'll have some pics up soon, once I get my wheels back from powdercoating and my 37" BFG AT K02's mounted up.

Cool, that means I can get airbags for any lift I would want....most springs are the same size inside give or take. I am debating the 3" teraflex and going 35" but that means regearing etc. but then I could finally install my true tracs. hmmmmmmm decisions. Love your rig. its awesome..

Thanks! I'll have some more updates once I get the tires/wheels mounted up. I've been working on organizing things and finding a secure spot for all my gear.
