I couldn't agree more...this looks like exactly what I would like to build. I think maybe a door on the driver side as well, but other then that this is an amazing project and quite inexpensive relatively speaking. I look forward to more updates on where this build will go!
Nice job!
Thanks guy's....... I'm currently out of town for work so only a couple more things got done before I had to leave, and of course I don't have the pics with me. I will try and get them up when I get back home.
Due to some financial "things" I'm going to sell the trailer. I listed it in the for sale section as well. $4,600.00 obo please read the "other" add first before calling or pm'ing Thanks ... Thomas
I was worried about stone strikes on the water cans, but doubt thats going to be an issue. Would some kind of metal mesh door be best for the propane tank guard?
I know this is an old post - and that the trailer has already been sold.
But this is very close to the 5 x 8 cargo trailer conversion I am planning to build so I thought I would move it back to the top.
I also want to mimic the teardrop floor plan with the queen bed up front and galley at the back.
The under bed "basement" is a great idea.
I will also hang some cabinets over the foot section of the bed.
A Fantastic 12v fan will handle ventilation.
I am still debating going with a torsion axle, but I like the option of the spring over axle for larger tires.
