"Cowboy" canvas bed roll? Good, better, best?

Canvas upper and vinyl bottom. I have yet to use it, but it seems like it would fit the purpose. I'm going to stuff my inflatable mattress, and my sleeping bag and it should roll into a nice tight burrito for quick deployment and park-away.
I might replace the belt-buckle style straps with a regular tie down, so that I can cinch things tight.

Kinda funny these are the only shots I have of my bedroll. I've had this one over 20 years and usually put it on top of my cot, in the tent.
Depending on the weather forecast it's loaded with an inflatable mattress, (2) pillows, sheet, wool blanket and a down puffy blanket.

My Canvas Cutter Dominator has worked well for me on the ground and in the truck bed.
Give Born Outdoor (bornoutdoor.com) a look as well. I have a Badger Bed 30 bedroll and absolutely love it and use it all year. It's different than a canvas bedroll because the top layer breaths allowing your body moisture to escape keeping you dry. I have a simple tarp I throw over me if there is a chance of light rain. If it's raining a lot, I'll be in my truck or tent and just bring the bedroll on in with me. I even used it in my buddy's garage after a just one more kinda night. I've talked with them at the Overland Expo in Colorado and they are cool family owned company and were super helpful with my questions. I recently added their wool blanket to my kit which is really sweet. It isn't a cheap system, but it's been the best money I've spent because a good nights sleep is priceless.

I swear by my bedroll system. Its been proven time and time again, motorcycle in Patagonia, horseback, more fires and operations that I can count, just hucked on my flatbed, and even used inside my hammock. It was made for me by an outfitter long ago.
Was a few hundred worth it though. And made to my custom dimensions. With a zipper on both sides. And a large “hood”. And the bottom “wrap” is treated. Not waxed though. Its 10oz.
And inside, I have a nemo equipment sleeping bag, with an integrated pad sleeve. It’s been a fantastic system. I also do not seem to have many pictures of the set up though
