All the cabovers I've seen are hydraulic clutch.

It's a mechanical clutch, however, it has a large mechanical advantage in the mechanism. Furthermore, the clutch I installed is an upgraded French made one that does not use coil springs in the pressure plate. It's very smooth and light. My old Subaru had a harder pedal!

Nope it's all levers/linkages from pedal to bell housing.
