Croc Hunter '92 MJ

I don't have a camera with me, but here is the first snow from last year when I lived in Trout Creek.

This is the end of the winter as seen from our current house. Thats our house in the bottom pic, unfortunately I don't get access to that big garage. I might see if the landlords will let me park my motorcycle in there over the winter though.

Us north west Montana ExPo members are a bunch of country bumpkins.

Definitely haha, I was raised in the country in Argentina then had to live in a small Florida city but back in the country. I'm gonna have to swing by your place sometime.

For sure. I've got a mountain just over the border in Idaho that I've been wanting to drive up, I'm told it is completely rock and when you get to the top there is just enough room to turn your vehicle around and drive back down. You can see the top of the mountain from farther down the road, if there is anyone else there is is highly recommended you wait until they come down before heading up. Its called Idaho Point and at coordinates 47.887586 -115.954597. I think it looks like a fun drive, and its near a fire tower that has some good views.

Found a 33x10.50 all terrain at a junkyard yesterday. Got a full size spare for my winter tires for $40, mounted myself with a bit of dawn soap and a couple tire irons. I really want wheels like this back on the MJ.

I need a xmember made but prices are outrageous near me & the jeep guys who want/willing to help all live 4+ hrs from me and the Xj can't drive lol..so with towing cost it all equals out about the same. Its killing me.

If you are near Charleston SC get in touch with me and we'll build a crossmember

Did the Neon injector swap today, idle seems the same. Everything seems the same, I'll have to keep an eye on the mileage and see if it improves.

If you pull your cables, both cables & leave em off for roughly 30 minutes it should reset your ECU. Then let it relearn for the first like 50 start ups..you should notice a difference!

I did that by holding the two cables together to discharge the capacitors in the computer.

Comanche doing work, Ford 5.4l V8 and auto tranny in the bed.

It's actually pretty impressive how strong these longbed springs are. That 5.4 in the bed is already installed in the '98 F250, Truck Roars.

Haven't done much of anything to the '92. Been concentrating on this '86 with the OM617, getting really close to driving it. Makes me want to put an OM602 in the '92. I am just ready to start travelling with the Comanche, I want to set up a solar system on it, and a heater in the bed when the top is on. I also need a GPS system but as I have been a caveman and used maps so far I am unfamiliar with all these new systems. So far I have put 25k miles on it since I started driving it, 95k on the engine now and not a single problem.

Why not on OM617 in this jeep as well?

I am looking at putting an OM617 in my vehicles as well (89 S10; 90XJ; 94ZJ)
