buahahaah! Oh we love David E! He's got more gadgets than you I think... Well other than that on-trail surgery kit.

That was an on-trail surgery/ interrogation kit. buahahaah! David's a pistol... he's got ship-fitters disease baad! But you're holding your own there... what -- 12 different headlights?

Proof positive that you can talk to a fence-post. ;)

Nice. I'm wondering what witty comment I could make... :) This was a great trip. Good scenery, great friends.

... and proof that a fence-post can type! Welcome to the forum David E! Great first post, however there is no witticism you could make to counter my sarcasm-****.

Your truck looked great on the trails and seemed to be, from reading between the lines of Addison's prose, the anchor truck for those lesser but stylish vehicles. You are a master of the snow -- aren't you proud of it? When did you go for the Maggi - looks good - how do you like it? Tell us more and add some pics.

Hope to see you at OX13 again this year and pay witness to your latest list of modifications buddy.

I'm not sure if I'm a master of the snow, although each time I wheel in the snow I learn a bit more. This run was a team effort. Between Addison, Mark and myself we managed to figure out difficult lines and came thru 'unscathed'. For my American friends that means no damage :) .

And you will see me at OvExp 2013 barring any unforseen circumstances.

I posted a couple of these pics in the "show us your Tacoma/4Runner picture thread" but thought I would bump this thread as the location was very similar to the previous run I did the week before.

This last weekend was a little different with copious amount of snow:

Snowed on us the entire day:

Very cool pics. I'm jealous of the snow and the scenery.

Very cool guys. I'd be very interested in heading out with you guys sometime. I'm up in Calgary but always looking to get out (when I'm back in town).

Let me know when you head out next (if you want some company). I've got a JK though...

Hey Mike, Yah you should head down here for sure! No worries on the JK, we aren't haters! hahah I actually really like the JK's. I know a lot of the local CT4WD (Canada Toyota 4WD Association) Calgary runs have Jeeps, Hummers, and Rover's going out all the time so you may want to sign up over there for a chance at some local runs too. I'll keep you in the loop!

Have a build thread for me to drool over?

Cheers,
Addison

great photos. I haven't seen that much snow in a long time.

Thanks! Yah, same here! So much snow in such a short amount of time. It was literally epic.

How I stand currently.

I'll head over to CT4WD and sign up there too.

Nice build Mike!! That front bumper is wicked!

Definitely sign up on the CT4WD forum. They have a premium ($40 a year I think) membership and a free membership. I recommend signing up for the "free" version and go on the forum and introducing yourself. You can test the waters before signing up for the full paid membership. The "unofficial" runs are open to all the users and the "Official" runs are open to Premium members who have taken the corresponding level of courses. I've been a Premium member there for ~3 years now and really enjoy the association. I'm actually a part of the Trail Team as well. It's super fun and we'd be stoked to see you out with us and over on the forum! Cheers

Great pics! Man that's a lot of snow! if only we could get some snow like that here in NC.

So does all that snow pack in the front end of the trucks make them overheat from less airflow?

Really depends on the snow conditions, but it is definitely something to watch out for. The wetter (or stickier) the snow, the more chance that snow is going to stick on the front end and pack up. The day posted above wasnt too bad, the snow was pretty fluffy so it wasnt that big of an issue.
