I was going to suggest a marine one with a swivel, but you have to drill for those.
I don't trust any of the "bean bag" type setups, and the clip on ones are pretty hard to find now.
Bean bag cell phone holders, etc. make me laugh. I guess with the way I drive, I'm not the target market for them.

I feel your pain...no tengo cupholders in the troopy....
I just don't drink unless I have a passenger to hold the cup....:shakin:
I've looked at a couple of the carpet mount jobbies at the local auto parts store, but think I'm gonna go with a nicer setup made for a Goldwing/touring motorcycle and fit it to the dash bolts...

My back seat has no cupholders. I installed two. They can be mounted using the included foam tape and ,or screwed in place. I decided to do both.
These are by Fischer.
Two cost me $31.32 shipped. This is the current ebay auction
I did look at literally hundreds of options. Some looked weak. The Corvette cup holders that mount to the side of the transmission tunnel looked pretty good, but they were expensive. I considered a center console for the rear seat. One from a Jeep looked like it might be an option. It too was expensive and I did not want to lose the room.
I considered mounting in the rear of the front console, or one of the front seats. I worry about them getting stepped on or broken there.
There were lots of cheaper cup holders. These just looked to be of the quality I want and fit nicely on the rear door panels.
They are sturdy and have held up well. You would never know that they were not factory equipment.
