Hello! I am Looking at outfitting a Ram 5500 with kelderman front air and rear 2 stage, but I'm thinking about doing the electronics portion custom since their solutions are quite expensive and seems like some people on here have had a few issues with the electronics.
Looking for parts insight / experience insight, I'm guessing there are lots of people on here that have added their own air systems (doesnt have to be for kelderman specifically). Looking for recommendations on parts. I will probably tee off the air to use as supplement air, but isnt really a requirement or strong need. Thinking like a Viair pump, some type of dryer (type/brand?), tank, solenoids. I did a little searching but didnt quickly find a lot of custom builds for air, maybe I need to change my search terms....
Making a manual controlled systems seems simple, could design my own electrical system as well but seems like there must be something decent out there that doesnt cost a fortune. Since this vehicle will be used to tow a lot it would be awesome to switch been rear auto height and custom pressure (could be done mechanical but electronic would be nice but only it if actually works well).
Mainly would be nice to get any input on peoples experiences and recommendations, thanks!
