Hello everyone,
I am selling this roof rack that my dad and I built for my Jeep Cherokee.
It has been awesome and extremely useful for me in the past but we are building another one that will fit my changing needs so I have no use for this one.
I have used it for carrying kayaks, snowboards, mtn bikes, wood, tables, water jugs, a rooftop tent and just about anything that is too big to put inside the car. It is extremely versatile and has PLENTY of tie down points. It has an expanded metal floor (basically metal mesh) so that my Fiance and I can throw a blanket up there and have a picnic on the roof or watch fireworks or the waves at the beach. We have also used it to fish and hunt from (vehicle NOT moving obviously).
The floor can be used as tie down points as you can tie rope through it as well as hook bungie cords and ratchet straps to it. It also has a rounded metal upper rail to make tie downs easier. We also welded chain links throughout the interior of the rack for any larger ratchet strapping or larger ropes.
It also has a C Channel light bar that bolts into the floor of the rack to hide wiring and keep thieves from stealing the lights (When the lights are mounted to the flat top of the C channel bar, the nut that secures the light to the C channel is on the inside of the "C" so it is not accessible without unbolting the entire rack).
It also has rear facing light tabs already welded in, I just haven't used them.
It can be adapted to many different vehicles and mounting types though it currently has it's own feet, I can assist with remounting if necessary.
Its dimensions are 70" long X 49" wide X 6" tall and is painted Hammered Grey.
I am not sure on the weight of this thing but I have put it on by myself (draping a moving blanket over the roof and windows) but it is easier to lift on with two people.
If anyone is interested, make me an offer.
Thank you!

And the mounting feet (You literally have to be this close for the dirt/mud to show, you can also see the chain links that were welded in for mounting points):
