All update on current order status after receiving confirmations from other site members:

We are now up to 12 confirmed buyers for 12 tents, 2 awnings, and 1 mesh room so we are almost at the guarantee point!
I still have icedrifter68 / ajthegoale / TyRD as currently interested which could easily push us over the limit along with ttn333 & Heuschele for tents and/or awnings.

ROCK ON Y'ALL, we can do it

PS: From another forum member who spoke with Bobby, if you want to get your tent early at the 30% rate before the deal ends he will honor so you can get your tent ASAP so if this is enough to get you confirmed, PM me straight away.

My wife is eager to get our tent and awning so we might check with bobby and head dawn before the closing date.
saturday the 23th looks like the best day so we can use it for the 4th.

Thanks for updating us all Pritchnakoff

TyRD, thanks for the solid interest and hope you are able to take advantage. I would guess that this is not an option, but will look to Bobby at CVT to get some final confirmation on that. Might I ask why you don't like/want the annex? I am fairly certain it is a zip in product so you don't have to have it set up every time and the CVT annex rooms have floors so it makes for a great space to store your gear or duffel bags and stay out of any weather! Pretty great feature IMHO - anyhow Bobby can you clarify?
Honestly I just don't like the look of them, but you make a good point. I'm sure it would come in handy especially in bad weather. If it does zip in then that would be nice to have the option to remove/attach it when needed. I would prefer it without if the price was significantly lower. Every RTT I've seen with the annex is mounted to the roof, would the annex work if mounted lower on the bed?

I want to say I read/saw that the CVT Annex room now comes in two sizes a shorter version for car top and the standard version for truck tops, I think Bobby posted that in an early thread here, I will look around!

This is a great video showing how the annex works. It slides into the beaded aluminum track that the cover slides into and then zips the rest of the way. Watch the video...it'll make more sense.

Wish he had one designed specifically for a trailer. Thule rack at 60" off the ground just isn't enough for a RTT designed tent wanting to have usable annex room without crouching over.

All with driller (PM received) we are now officially at 18 tents purchased and I still have a bunch of guys that were holding out (on other forums) for the 30% so we are now locked in! I'll be speaking with Bobby today to get confirmation of purchase details and advanced purchase options for those that would like to get before 29-June.

Thanks to all participants SUPER stoked!

All in my excitement/haste of the previous post, I forgot to give a shout to my held interested parties:

TyRD, DiscoCO, and MrWizard, let me know if the confirmation of the deal has been able to get you guys to commit.
Thanks much!

All this talk about RTT's has got my wife hot and bothered about overlanding. We'll let you know this evening...but it's looking pretty solid.

With either the Mt. Shasta or Mt. Rainier Roof Top Tents it would give you all the walk around in the overhang and then, yes you would have to crouch for the rest of it. But on the Rainier you would have 3'x6' to walk around in. Just sayin....

I hate to say take my name off the list (of 30% holdouts) but we just dropped close to $5k for a new a/c system for the house. Convenient how that goes out right after selling my Harley...I haven't even enjoyed not having the payment yet. I am seriously bummed about this and am guessing I've lost a great opportunity to get a tent at a great price.

Gadgetech,

I am sorry to hear about financial burden... Down the road if you are still interested I will still give you the 30% off. Hope all is well. Keep your head up!

Bobby
