Ive got a lady looking to sell a 2-3 yr old D-80 body for $300. I am in the market for a DSLR and my sister loves her D80. I figure you can pick up a "kit" lens for $50-75 and be into it for under $400 with a new battery. This would get me started until I could buy some better lenses. The camera was just cleaned and "had the software updated" at Inkley's here in Salt Lake. What should I be looking for on a used body? It is for the body only, no battery or charger. She didn't know how many pictures had been taken, but I can tell her how to look it up. She upgraded to a D90 at Christmas and has not used it since. My Panasonic TZ3 got dropped in the sand last year and finally bit the dust. That leaves me with my Pentax WP which works fine but I'm looking to do a little more.
