Back to the interior... my CB is now mocked in the dash... have a handheld HAM, but still wanted the CB available on occasion... need to replace my antenna (my trusty old K40 suffered from a broken coax, in an unfortunate tussle with the garage door - don't ask!)
Also pulled the horrible grayish brown and cracked center bezel, and replaced it with a nice new black one, an ebay special. Unfortunately I didn't consider that it would be LHD oriented, so when I got it I had to cut the slider tracks to accomodate my RHD heater controls. Also got black side vent covers to match the center.
The double DIN deck is a JOYING android unit, and has been an absolute win. In the past 10 years I've had JVC, Alpine, Kenwood, Sony, and Pioneer head units. This one beats them all, IMHO. In-dash google maps, or whatever GPS program you want to run. Music via bluetooth, SD card, Pandora, AM/FM, you name it. It really is a great unit for $300 of my Canadian dollars. I'll get some more pics of the different screens in a follow up if there is interest?
