Dead pedal install

I decided to install a dead pedal as my left foot always seemed to be uncomfortable while driving. I'm going on decent 600 mile trip in two weeks and thought this would be a great item to have.

A quick trip around the area proved that this will make a significant difference in comfort when driving.

Amazon Prime offered it for $35 delivered and so I snatched one up.

Installation was a bit confusing at first as I didn't realize that the hook for the door strap needed to be removed for installation. As you can also see, it has multiple adjustment's to suit anyone. Hopefully these images help.

That's one thing I installed in our jeep too and my wife loves it...makes it so much more comfortable IMO

You actually have enough room??? I can pretty much guess, anyone with 13s or bigger is laughing. I damn near wear my Jeep, I like being 3 - 4th in line at lights. So I can see the lights without putting my chin on the steering wheel. BUT I sure as heck wouldn't swap it for anything else. It's like my dogs, it doesn't care where we go just as long as we go!

I had thought about getting one of these, but man... I love stretching out my legs in that space during long drives (w/cruise control of course)... Thanks for the post.

I am considering one of these. The arch of my foot gets sore on long drives, strange but it's the only vehicle that I have had this happen.

I'm a big guy, 6'3, 250# and wear a 12 sized shoe. My Boots of course are bigger and yes, I have plenty of room.

For anyone considering a dead pedal for comfort, this seems to help considerably.

I installed one of these sometime ago one of the better things I did... Great for daily driving and really great for trail rides.. Think I am gonna do one on the passanger side as my girlfriend seems to drive more on the trail than me.....
