Dont feel bad about the Optimas failing, it is inherent in their mfg. I have killed a blue top as well as 3 yellow tops in my TJ, and I run serious electronics from Ham radios (3) to on board cameras (5), All are guarnteed however check the mfg date before you purchase it, if they are on the shelf for a year prior to purchase back off. They need to be fresh 90-120 days on the shelf max, most battery dealers will support te return but if you have doubts you can email me and I will do the replacement work for you, Jim Rubiconcruiser@msn.com
