I'm thinking of selling my 110 CSW in 2014 - it's a 1989 build year ex Factory vehicle fitted with a 200Tdi

Unsure what it's worth and if there is a demand in the US for an honest motor...

I have a professional import/export consultant lined up to do the paperwork.

Also interested in knowing what an '85 SWB G Wagon fitted with an MB NA 3ltr Multivalve Diesel is worth....

yesterday i payed for my defender 110 she is on its way from Europe . and my classic rover is on ebay looking for a new home

shipping was 1600 all the way to long beach calif . 110 is a left hand drive diesel 1988 118.000 miles few rust spots but no big deal she will go true 100% restoration .

Hello gentleman. Its been 5 + months i have been super busy with my job .so busy that i didnt even have time to start my rover .

As some of u know my rover was on eBay for sale with broken transfer case. Bid went up to 10. Grand but it didnt sale. Idont blame the bidder who wants non running rover. About 2 weeks ago i finaly started having more free time to play with my rover and change broker part inside the t case . And she is back running like a clock again. I missed driving her so much. I have no idea why would i even think of selling her. And i am very glad it didnt sale. 10 grand is noting to let my babe go for.

As far as the defender yes i got her she arrived in time in long beach Calif. my brother picked it up i didnt even have time to play with it. It has rust on it but workable. he drove the truck to his house 530 miles north to Shasta lake calif using dealer license plates . I asked him about the power and running condition and he told me going up hills its slow but on the normal flat road ita not bad . so total cost including shipping was 9700 US . Truck is Late 87 production. I want it restored, but he told me it doesn't have to be if truck will be driven every day he drove close to 600 miles with no problem . I have to go see it myself before i decide.

I have a 2010 6bt motor off of the dodge ram 3500 31000 miles on it . makes about 750 lb ft tq, I hope i can use that, but it's risky, to much power, rovers chassis may not take. I don't know what's the max usable power that can be used, may be around 350 lb tq ? or i have to find optimizer 6.5 turbo AM GENERAL motor thats about 460 lb torque @ 1600 rpm and best of all it mechanical injection and no electronics .
I have to go drive it first and see how it does with its original drive train .
