Delorme PN40 Connection

Has anyone had any issues trying to connect their PN40 via USB, and trying to get it to run/map in the Delorme 7.0 software? When I try to start tracking in the software, it doesn't seem to be able to recognize the GPS, although the USB ports are find on the laptop.

Check the Delorme website, I think there is a firmware update addressing this problem.
 
Thanks. I was reading through it, and I'm crossing my fingers that's what it is, as the list shows some connection issues.
Hi grobinson. I hope that the firmware update solved your connection issues. If it did not I encourage you to call our customer service and technical support crew @ 800-511-2459. There were a small number of cables that were problematic and we have been sending out replacements to those affected. Happy Trails!
