Diehard PM-1 in 2nd Gen Tacoma

Can someone tell me whether or not the 31m PM-1 will fit the stock tray, battery terminal wires, and tie down? If there are mods required what are they? I've found plenty of threads about installing in 4runners and LCs, but no tech info on installing in tacomas.

Need a new battery to run my 63qt ARB fridge off of since I spend weekends at the beach and don't feel like going dual battery right now.

I installed one in mine, it's fine. The positive side was tight but bolted down fine. I suggest upgrading the hold down.

I went with the sears group 31m platinum - they are re-branded odyssey and the exact same battery, don't let anyone tel you otherwise - just call odyssey and ask them.

Fits perfect in the stock location and gives more amp hours than most dual setups:

PS I had the 34m originally - it will work just need to extend the ground cable. In the end I took it back and exchanged it for the 31m and much happier since I run an ARB cooler and other accessories while out camping.

also odyssey has a weird charge logarithm and higher trickle voltage requirement than most trickle chargers put out - either invest in the odyssey branded charges, the sears platinum (made to work with the odyssey or go to their site and pick from their approved list:

"27f is the actual battery in the truck... at sears it would be a international batter which doesn't have that much power.. i put in my 07 a die hard platinum group 65 which i only had to unbolt part one of the wire holders for the negative terminal i believe. when you install you will know what i'm talking about. But then again I changed out my wires going to the battery with 2g or 0g (can't remember off top of my head) wires which i think they are like 4g or 6g stock.. but needless to say swapping for bigger cables when putting a custom size battery in is a good idea. Ordered the PM-1 before the 15% discount expired this morning.

Hopefully I can run my fridge full time now. My truck is my DD so it should be fine as far as holding a charge goes.

Just an fyi, in which you guys probably know. If you go with the odyssey 31 you can get the battery terminals in opposite configurations. 31 vs 31M. Not sure if the diehard offers this. May help with your cables fitting.
