Have you ever driven a turned up 12valve? Wow, it's sooooo much fun. If you only put your foot into it part of the time ( too much fun not to ) the milage is great for a big truck. I have a 97 dodge with a 12 valve about the same power and a nv5600 conversion.

If you want a big bronco/ramcharger/blazer, BUY THIS!!!! I don't think the price is out of line if its as good as it looks. Imagine the time and cost to build. If everything works as he said that is great. I for one am done with tinkering with odds and ends and work way too many hours to mess with that to build something like this.

I never liked dodges till I drove a cummins. The steeper the hill the more it seems to pull. That turbo is like music to my ears.

What about smog where you are?

We are talking tomorrow morning. Any questions you could think to ask based on the description that was given?

Wow, that is just gorgeous. As others have stated - all it needs is some proper wheels.

Good luck! Hope you can get it.

I think that judging by pics and description ( you quoted seller right?), he looks like the type to have it all done properly. I didn't see a mention of the KDP being pinned or if the transfer/lift pump is updated. The 12 valve is not known to have pump failures, but when pushing that much fuel it might be worth asking the question. Otherwise, buy it and then get an offroad trailer for extra gear when you have the 'charger full of humans. Keeps the elk, deer etc off the carpets that way too!
I searched for diesel chargers last night in a fit of envy... Found one in Ohio that doesn't even come into the same league, let alone ballpark for $8k I think. As said above, a keeper for sure!

I did quote the seller, copied and pasted it from his ad. I was going to ask about the KDP for sure but I'll ask about the pump as well.

Is KDP still a problem in a 97? I thought it was only on the earlier engines. Maybe I'm wrong.

I would also ask what the highest egt's he has ever seen on the pyro gauge

I usually am not a fan of paying high money for a modified diesel
