I hope you aren't compromising the construction to get it done in time though...

Yes, extend the sleeping area. The reason it was done this way is to maximize available floor space inside for getting dressed, cooking, and shelter (which if it snows in Big Bear this weekend, could become a good warm and dry common area).

Primer done, fabric is being purchased, and I am about to go clean up and head to the DMV for a plate.

I am not really rushing it, I have taken the time needed to figure parts out. I just wont have a fully functional trailer this weekend, no water tank, minimal power setup, and in stained interior. This is all details I can finish later.

We found the waterproof fabric for V1 of the sides, it is a vinyl fabric and very strong and it looks like duct tape so i can patch it easily. lol

Just got back from DMV with this shiny object: :)
Looks like I need to sell the XJ and buy a KJ
