You have been asking for a tour of the Golden Goose, our 2008 Toyota Land Cruiser 200 Series. So we braved the hot weather to show you our little home on wheels. It's a simple setup that works well for us right now. We love this truck. Enjoy!
Tim takes some time to share his thoughts on the 200 series Toyota Land Cruiser vs. the 80 series Toyota Land Cruiser. After living, traveling, and working with both of these trucks extensively he gives some insight into the pros and cons of each.
Well, we decided to do something new. We can't wait to take you along. In this video, we explain what we are up to and how we started this new adventure.
It's crunch time! We have to get our camping, riding, camping, motorcycles, and camera gear sorted out and hit the road in three days or less! Every day spent now is a day less adventure! Let's go!
Well, despite the weather, we begin our cross-country "Great American Motorcycle Trip" (Kelsey's first motorcycle trip) We head for the the Mexican border, visit, Tombstone, and finally make it to Bisbee. What a great first day!
Welcome to the second installment of our great American motorcycle trip. We start in Bisbee AZ, and start to make our way north, dodging storms as we go. We ride through Morenci AZ and take a look at the Morenci mine. Then it's Kelsey's first time riding the famous Highway 191 (which used to be Highway 666) with its 400 curves. It might be Arizona's best motorcycle road! It's quite a ride!
A bucket list highway for sure! It’s so hard to imagine the scale of the mines, even when you are down in the center of it. When you look up and can’t see both rims at the same time.
I had a deployment team in Flagstaff a few years back for FEMA contracts. All over the US actually, but 3o in Arizona. I sure enjoyed flagstaff, it was a cool place.
We continue north into Utah in search of dirt, between the weather and a flat tire, this day turns into one of my favorite adventures! Come along for the stunning rides, as well as all the unknowns a trip like this has in store.
I highly recommend the Heidenau K60. I had a set take me 3k miles through Patagonia with no issues, no flats. Liked them so much, put them on my V strom when I got back. As well as on the Fleet Moto’s for Adventure Medic. I will say, the rubber is really thick. So field mounting them sucks.
We search for a new tire for Tim's bike, then head into the mountains of Utah in search of small mountain roads. The fall colors are starting to show and the seasons seem to be changing before our eyes, as we make our way north towards Wyoming.
Happy Holidays!

We make our way into Teton National Park and Yellowstone on our motorcycles and, spoiler alert, it is stunning! We also continue to be the mercy of the elements come along and see how we fare!
We finally have blue skies! We head south on little roads and my goodness does the USA have some good motorcycle roads. We find tons of mind-blowing beauty, good food, and campsites!
We pack up camp and continue south through Utah into Arizona, as always lots of views and incredible backroads to enjoy, for the final episode in our great American motorcycle trip series. We hope you like this one and have enjoyed coming along for this bucket list trip. It has been quite a ride!
