Disco 1 Lock Barrel Control Rod?

So went to get in the disco to day and the lock turned free. I got in from the passenger side of the truck pulled the trim and unlocked the door to disable the scurrility system. Looking in there the lock barrel control rod has broken free. it has a little plastic ring on the back of the barrel that is broken off. Called around today and the part is NLA, sooo anyone with a parts truck want to sell one to m... Checked my local LKQ and they don't have any Disoc 1's right now.
Part 8 in this image. Or to i need to get the hole door latch?

Will I worked out last night it's actually the plastic bit on the back of the lock barrel the pushes the rod up and down that broke. So now I,m super at a loss. part is also NLA. I did find a guy parting a disco on craigslist so ill see if i can get it form him this weekend.
