Disco 2 - air temp and electrical issues?

I've noticed that my blinkers won't come on when it's below 20 degrees F. when first switched on. They will come on when I jiggle the handle, but there is a slight delay (half sec., maybe). This goes away when it's warmer. My driver side window seems to have the same exact issue. It's weird. Is there any correlation between the cold and electrical issues?

I'm going to clean the contacts on the window rocker switch to see if that helps. Not sure where to start on the blinkers.

Cruise control is non-functioning at this point, but not sure when I can get to this.

Take the blinker switch out, clean all the terminals on the connector and also spray contact cleaner into the mechanism and work it through.

Cruise control diag can be a pain... do you have a multimeter?

Let’s go already!
Turn Signals-Adam prob nailed it. Whatever remains of dialectric grease is all gobbed up.
Cruise-passenger side, underhood, follow cable from manifold. Replace dry rotted hoses, and adjust cable and throttle cable accoring to manual (it is online in eleventy-billion places)
Clean sunroof drains-Some symptoms are stains or fabric separation along top on windshield, or getnwater running down windshield inside.

Blinker Fluid-use 104 weight. Replace via vacuum assist blinker fluid reservoir, located on top of transfer case.

Even though you gents were taking the piss out of me, my mechanic swears that many of the Rovers he's seen have electrical issues in the extreme cold. And to back that up, now that the weather is above freezing here in the NE, all of my electrical issues have cleared up. He claims that cheap contacts, namely in the stalks on the steering column (lights, wipers) are to blame, which was part of my issues.
