Anyone know where the other end of this wire is suppose to attach to? Its under the rear back passenger side wheel. Right under the bumper, see pics. Circled in red. It seems to be a negative ground wire, but to where and for what? I tried another landrover forum for answers but I got no replies. The wire originally looked like it was attached to my fuel door, or in that vicinity.

Yep, it's a grounding strap for the fuel filler. If you look straight up along the filler hose from underneath, you'll see the plug it fell from just above the hose clamp that secures the hose to the filler.

Safety- grounding the filler vs risking a spark whilst filling with fuel. A little excessive, but better safe than sorry...

Just reach up and plug it back in, there shouldn't be anything in the way. It follows the filler hose's path through that big open area behind the wheel.
