Discovey 5 speed...

In the next couple of months, after we get settled into our new house, I'm looking to get a new old series 1 Discovery. I would really like to find a 5 speed although I know they are hard to find. Would I be better off finding a good low mileage auto and making the Transmission swap? Keep an eye out for me too if you know of one close. The Less options the better ...

They are getting difficult to find these days. Most of the units that come up for sale around here are in very poor condition. Most with gearbox issues.

Although I prefer a stick shift in NA an auto is easier to run, repair, replace.

I will keep my eyes open.
