DIY barn door hooky thingamajig...

Like the title says, wanted a way to keep my rear barn door open. The door talon looks pricey and hard to track down...so I improvised!
Ten minutes with an extra hack saw blade and an angle grinder. One rivet. Done.

Cost is less than five bucks. Total time involved was less than 30 minutes including this write up.

Philos, how do you get your barn doors to open all the way to the side of the van? Is there a latch/pin or other mechanism?

Mine just opens... The rest of my doors have the little tabs that can be disconnected, but the rearmost barn door doesn't.

Mine have detachable arms. I thought they had been removed and I had to buy new ones, but low and behold, they had just been disconnect and pushed in. Take a look and see if you can push in a metal retaining clip and lift the arm off a pin.
