I have found a possible budget storage bag solution for the "skottle" stand by till I get it in and test it.

Storage bag? I am trying to make a sort of bag to wrap around it just to keep the rattles down. It is going to be interesting. The problem is the handles.

Nice find on the bag. To help with rust during storage between uses, throw some of those silica packs in the bottom. Buddy recommended it to me and it’s worked fairly well.

By cutting the legs it mean you need 3 extras coupler and 3 eye screws?

Yes, you will need 3 couplers and 3 eye screws.

If your legs are less than 40" total length each, you can get by with only two 5' pieces of conduit, instead of the three pieces required for non-break down legs.
