Do you winterize or keep it "ready to go"?

I keep my water heater turned on (electric side not gas), pour a little RV antifreeze in the traps, and throw one of these rubber warming mats on the floor. The trap under the sink froze on me last year (was not using the warming mat), so trying to pay a bit better attention to the traps this year.

I blew my toy hauler's lines out with compressed air and of course drained all the tanks but did nothing else this year. Usually I'll dump some RV antifreeze down all the drains. I'm thinking if I get the trailer out this winter, I'll just pack the needed water for drinking but not use the water tank and pump. That may limit where I go and who goes with me. I've actually never been out in the winter, but I'd like to try it some time. My toy hauler has heated tanks (just hot air blown from the furnace) and is supposedly 4 season rated.

Maybe a moderator will move this thread to the appropriate forum...

:sombrero: Well, since I keep my trailer and my cars/jeep in my garage all year--

I don't have to worry about "winterizing"-and right now it's about 26°F-

I just can't imagine leaving my jeep outside on the East coast and it being a DD--

I'd move to the West coast !
