Ain't it funny how everyone wants what they don't have.....

True enough, but I LOVE my Tacoma and wouldn't sell it for anything. Spent too much money building it and still more money to go.:Mechanic:

I had an old FJ40 and I had to sell it for a pickup, simply couldn't afford to keep the Cruiser on the road. :)

Sgt Grunt. I had a 82 toy truck, 90 4Runner and now my taco. There are two things I don't like about the new tacos. The length and the rear shackles. I think I can live with both. Besides how can I be as cool as TACODOC, cell4soul, Jacket, and heeltoe989 if I got an FJ cruiser. All three of their tacos make me not want an fjc. Plus I think a flippac on an extended cab 2nd gen taco would be sick. I will keep my taco till about 225k miles so that give me a little over two years to decide. Sorry for the partial hijack as it started with me complimenting TACODOC's truck.

Still enjoying the truck without the sway bar? I've just read a few things on it and I might consider it.

Yep, no way I'm putting 50 useless pounds back up front :shakin:

Something Wicked This Way Comes!

Today, I placed my order for my new custom high clearance wrap around rear bumper with swingout spare tire carrier! I hope to have it here on deck and mounted in time for the ExPo Death Valley Trip! :D

ExPo Death Valley Trip January 2008

I will post more pics as they become available, stay tuned! :box:

I have taken the path less traveled and gone with a different fabricator this time!

Bentup made my rock sliders... Demello made my expedition rack... guess who is making my rear swingout bumper??? :costumed-smiley-007

And, thanks to recent developments here on ExPo, I also see a Safety Snorkel in the not too distant future! :snorkel:
2005+ Tacoma Snorkel Thread

In the far off future maybe even a SAS and a Common Rail Diesel conversion, who knows?

A CRD option will be available very soon: http://www.dieseltoyz.com/Home.html

Oh wow diesel conversions for late model Toyota's, VERY COOL! The only thing that might keep me (others?) away is the cost and ditching our very good V8s and V6s...
