I had the pickup truck version - a 1962 Dodge M37-B1 w/w. Flathead I6 gasoline with 65 (?) HP but with 5.83 gears it could climb trees. Had a waterproof ignition system standard. Air intake snorkel and exhaust extension were optional for serious fording. Weighed 5,987 lbs and rode surprisingly well. Top speed 45 mph. Got 7 to 8 mpg.
Folks were putting Hercules diesel engines in them to improve top speed and mpg.
Having owned one of these, stay away unless you're ready to delve into a fun new world and be sure it's solely a spare vehicle. It's slow, thirsty and gets tons of attention
