Imagine taking a winter trip through AK and Canada and hitting a bunch of different ski resorts. Talk about forget you money!

I wonder how these compare in function and quality to an Earth Roamer.

Yeah id love to see this thing try a trail. Any trail. Anything not paved.

It IS a hilarious show piece though, and if I had stupid money I'd drive this thing all day, lighting expensive cigars with $100 bills.

While these are not workable for overlanding, I must admit I prefer that style of interior more than the sterile, hospital room, all white look of many rigs. I realize it's about being able to easily clean, etc. We all have our own preferences, but when I get to the interior of my build, there will be soft surfaces & wood.

Agreed. Seriously, this thing isn't going to get down a wet gravel road. For that coin why wouldn't anyone with a brain buy a diesel pusher and tow an offroad toy if needed? I'm speaking of travel in North America as I am not familiar with wet gravel roads in other nations, but these things are a joke. The diesel pusher RV market turns out some seriously nice stuff and has been refining it for decades, and you could outdo this monstrosity for half the price.

Each to his own - I think that interior is downright depressing. So dark and heavy - it would make me feel like I was incarcerated in a 19th century asylum.

Yes, there would be some restraints, but only if she is OK with with it...
