Donahoe Racing coilover questions

Yesterday I bought a little 2001 extended cab Tacoma with the 2.7 and only 110,000 miles on it and when looking at the front suspension I could tell that it wasn't stock. They are Donahoe Racing coilovers and I'm thrilled about that.

How can I tell if they need rebuilding? How do I adjust them to lower them a bit and if they do need to be serviced is there anywhere in the Denver area that does that or do I have to take them off and send them to Icon? Anything I can look at to try and identify which model coilover I have?

I knew I had to have it when I saw all the sweet stickers. Seriously though, if it wasn't 2 degrees here today they'd already be gone. This is a pic of the coilover and the other pictures are from the craigslist ad.

Thanks!

This is an option. What would the coilovers I have be worth if I sold them?

Why would you sell them, send them to ICON or a rebuild. Get some takeoffs from T4R.org or Tacomaworld to run around on till you get them back from the rebuild if you need to.

You have the std coilover for the model truck. Hard to say from pics if you need them rebuilt, go work the front end and see if its damped. To lower them, there is a set screw. You need the spanner wrench (probably with your jack kit, else buy one). Undo the set screw on the collar, oil the threads on the tube with some lightweight oil, and wrench the collar up. Jack the truck up to ease the tension on the coil spring.
