On the web site there is now a US Flag with a link to click on.

It says "Work is now in progress to bring US Customer locally manufactured DRIFTA Kitchens."

Lets see what happens.:chef:

Luke Sutton at Drifta Camping Kitchens and I have exchanged a few emails over the last couple of weeks regarding their plans for the U.S. market. He currently plans to come to the States in early June and looks like they will be building DCB, DPOS, DPOR and DSB kitchens along with some of the drawers. Order details along with U.S. specific updates should be posted to their site at www.drifta.com.au as they firm up.

I have no affiliation with Luke or Drifta but look forward to figuring out what I can put in my M101CDN trailer for a kitchen :chef:

Great news indeed. Some very nice layouts; I also like the 200- would complement an AT Chaser or Oztent very well.
Thanks for the link!

I don't think Luke will mind if a post his email here.

G’day, Luke here from Australia. I’m sending out an e-mail to everyone who has sent me an enquiry over the last few years about purchasing a Drifta kitchen. Not sure if you’re still interested , but I’ll be flying to America on the 17th of June to start up a small factory building a range of Drifta kitchens. We’ll be in WA, the town of Okanogan. I’ll be receiving e-mails when I’m there also, so if you’re keen on purchasing a Drifta, then let me know. I have a new link on my website for US orders , just click on the picture of the US flag on the home page. www.drifta.com.au this link will keep you up to date with all the details of how to order etc.

So, if you want to be one of the first people in history in America to own a Drifta, send me an e-mail.. the first lot of sales will include a free Drifta stubby holder. Thanks for your time, rgds Luke

Ps, many people had mentioned reading my “TRIPS” section on the website, ( http://www.drifta.com.au/trips.php )which is my stories from travelling… I now written lots of new chapters, I’m going to put it in a book which will be for sale on the web within 6 months. If you’d like a preview of some of the new stories, let me know and I can e-mail them to you… ta, luke

Just emailed Luke to place my order for the Drifta Car Back. We'll see how it goes on getting it purchased when they get up and running mid-June in the US as the website reports.

Luke emailed me a few months back asking my opinions on whether I thought the drifta kitchens would do well in Europe also, he has someone in the Scandanavian countries intersted in making the kitchens. Not sure if anything ever came of it, but its good that he is looking to expand his company into other markets! Good for us, and good for him!

As much as I love my little home built kitchen, I am seriously considering a Drifta when the come available in the US. Depending on if they can keep the price along the same lines as what he has in Aussieland...

I've also exchanged a few emails with Luke and am in line to buy one of the first Drifta Car Backs (DCB) when he gets up and running sometime soon (don't want to make predictions on his behalf) in the U.S.

Am excited to own one of these soon to use in my m416 build...
