Dryer Vent

Ok, I installed a combo washer/dryer in our truck. I was not able to find an external vent that I liked. I would prefer a small door that flips open to expose the vent. Anyone know of anything like that?

I get strong winds at my house and use this type of vent cap.

I have the standard, 3 flap Rv type. It works well, however I don't think I would trust it in really dusty environments.

I am looking for something that probably doesn't exist short of being custom. I want an insulated door that latches. So from the outside it looks like just a small cargo door. Open it up and you see a panel with a formed round hole for the vent. Ideally it would be white gelcoated fiberglass. I know, pretty demanding.

Something like this would be pretty easy to insulate and adapt.

Thanks for the idea. Did some new searching and came up with this https://www.pitpal.com/access-doors/gas-fill-guard-w/door-lock-hole/.

Could insulate from the back as it is 1" deep and make a small foam black for the outside between the door and neck. Would probably try and paint/powder coat it.

Although not what you asked for, you might try searching for "4" marine deck plate" for another idea. Some are low cost and seal well. Look for one you could insulate a bit?

Maybe you will need to design and patient one...

I was not able to find one like that, I kind of thought in my next build I would just install it into a small storage box.
