Well, the 8800 I had my eye on has vanished. That said and while I may or may not use xband for now, I am looking at a Icon 2730 A Deluxe for 330.00 shipped.
Thoughts? Durable?

Try GigaParts, Universal Radio or DX Engineering. All three had them in stock a couple of weeks ago when I picked up my 2nd one.

Main Trading Co in Tx has received my order for a new Yaesu FT 8800. They asked me how many I wanted and said they have plenty.
